1. MEET WITH THE INSTALLER: The installation of your flooring has been pre-scheduled for a specific day. When the installer arrives, please go over the floor plan to verify the areas that are to be covered. Also, verify the materials and colors with the installer to avoid any mistakes. During the installation process, you may be able to detect some odors, This is normal. To minimize the odors, open windows and doors, if possible, for adequate supply of fresh air, and operate the fan system at the maximum speed
2. FURNITURE: Please remove all small furniture such as lamps, small chairs, small tables, all breakable items, etc. Remove all items from bottoms of closets and long hanging clothes. Also remove bedding, as we will have to disassemble the bed. Tops of bureaus and desks must be cleared and china cabinets emptied so the installer can finish the job in a timely manner. The installers will move all basic furniture. However, there will be an additional charge for pianos, pool tables, and large pieces of furniture. If you are ordering kitchen or utility area flooring please disengage the washer, dryer, and/or icemaker if they are to be removed. Please empty and remove waterbed mattresses.
3. BATHROOMS: Commodes will be removed and replaced but we are not responsible for water and plumbing problems as a result.
4. HARDWOOD, LAMINATE AND CERAMIC INSTALLATION: We will take away your old carpet and pad, unless your request in advance that we leave it. When removal of old floor is completed, problems may be present that were not visible before removal. Bad concrete, termites, underlayment or cut back adhesive are conditions that are not suitable for new flooring. Should this occur, you will be notified before we continue the job as additional charges may be incurred.
Sub-Floor: If the floor is uneven it may be necessary to repair the old floor at an additional cost. There is a charge for any unforeseen problem after removing your old floor. If the floor needs to be floated or leveled there will an extra charge of ___________ a bag. All American Flooring is not responsible for any moisture problems
