  • All American Flooring makes no warranties on any merchandise sold, that are not herein expressed.
  • All warranties on material come from manufacturer.
  • 35% restocking charges on all cancelled or changed orders within 30days, subject to vendor's policy.
  • Minimum return item on cash and carry is 3 unopened cartons with 35% restocking fee subject to vendor's policy.
  • Preparation for installation sheet is an intergral part of this contract.
  • All prices quoted or noted on this contract are valid for 30 days, except on sale items.
  • C.O.D amount must be paid before installer leaves premises.
GET READY WE ARE COMING TO YOUR PLACE

1. MEET WITH THE INSTALLER: The installation of your flooring has been pre-scheduled for a specific day. When the installer arrives, please go over the floor plan to verify the areas that are to be covered. Also, verify the materials and colors with the installer to avoid any mistakes. During the installation process, you may be able to detect some odors, This is normal. To minimize the odors, open windows and doors, if possible, for adequate supply of fresh air, and operate the fan system at the maximum speed

2. FURNITURE: Please remove all small furniture such as lamps, small chairs, small tables, all breakable items, etc. Remove all items from bottoms of closets and long hanging clothes. Also remove bedding, as we will have to disassemble the bed. Tops of bureaus and desks must be cleared and china cabinets emptied so the installer can finish the job in a timely manner. The installers will move all basic furniture. However, there will be an additional charge for pianos, pool tables, and large pieces of furniture. If you are ordering kitchen or utility area flooring please disengage the washer, dryer, and/or icemaker if they are to be removed. Please empty and remove waterbed mattresses.

3. BATHROOMS: Commodes will be removed and replaced but we are not responsible for water and plumbing problems as a result.

4. HARDWOOD, LAMINATE AND CERAMIC INSTALLATION: We will take away your old carpet and pad, unless your request in advance that we leave it. When removal of old floor is completed, problems may be present that were not visible before removal. Bad concrete, termites, underlayment or cut back adhesive are conditions that are not suitable for new flooring. Should this occur, you will be notified before we continue the job as additional charges may be incurred.

Sub-Floor: If the floor is uneven it may be necessary to repair the old floor at an additional cost. There is a charge for any unforeseen problem after removing your old floor. If the floor needs to be floated or leveled there will an extra charge of ___________ a bag. All American Flooring is not responsible for any moisture problems

If there are cracks or moisture additional charges may apply.

6. INSTALLATION WARRANTY & REPAIR: Installation warranty on carpet and hard surfaces is one year. All American Flooring will do my repairs necessary due to faulty installation within the warranty period. No warranty work will be performed until all balance is paid in full. Installation warranty is only valid on materials purchased through All American Flooring.

7. Installation Date: Due to circumstances beyond the control of All American Flooring, installation dates may change. Schedule times are approximate. No discounts will be given due to scheduling conflicts or the length of the job.

8. PAYMENT: Please pay our contractors the C.O.D balance upon completion of their work. The installer will accept cash, check, or authorized charge slip, made payable to All American Flooring. If no one will be home upon completion of the installation, please make arrangements with our accounting department for prior payment of the outstanding balance.

A mechanics lien may be placed on the property until the balance is paid in full.

9. DUST: Yes there will be dust as a result of removing the old floor. Our crew will do their best to minimize it.

10. QUARTER-ROUND & BASE BOARD: If you wish to save your existing molding, please have it removed in advance of the installer's arrival. We will remove and put back the existing Quarter Round, Base Boards or Sheet Rock, but cannot be responsible for breakage or chipping of the paint on the Quarter Round, Base Boards or the Sheet Rock. Paint touch-up of walls the removing existing baseboards is the responsibility of the homeowner.

11. Care & Maintenance: Care & Maintenace has been explained to the customer. This includes maintaining the proper humidity level of the house. After ALl American Flooring installs new floors according to industry standards we are not responsible for the maintenance of the floors. Anything resulting in wear and tear, moisture or dryness of floors is therefore the customers responsibility. Avoid using water, oil or harsh chemicals to clean wood and laminate flooring. This may result in avoiding the warranty.
