Mix one part of the cleaner with three parts of clean, warm water and spray on the spot using a spray bottle. Let the cleaner stay on the stain for about 20 minutes to break the stain. After 15-20 minutes, scrub the area gently and rinse. Mop the floor in small sections until you finish the entire floor. You can select one of the gentle cleansers such as mild dish wash soaps, neutral stone cleaner, pH neutral floor cleaner or detergents or pH neutral stone cleaners.   1. Fill a mop bucket with warm water and a quarter cup of mild cleaning detergent for every one gallon of water and stir properly.
  2. Dip a clean mop into the solution and wring thoroughly to avoid application of the excess solution
  3. Start mopping the floor in small sections from the farthest corner till you cover the whole floor. Also, you can switch on your fan to quicken the drying process.
  4. Rinse the floor with clean, warm water and ensure you thoroughly wring out the mop.
  5. You can consider adding some drops of lavender oil to keep the sweet scent in the room.
  6. Leave your floor to dry and return your valuables to the room.
